Q: Why should I choose a WOVEN Home Documentary Session?
A: Home sessions are laid back and embrace the present. They capture the everyday moments that you may normally overlook. Your baby stretched out on the bed with fingers and toes curled in their own way. Pursed lips. A sleepy yawn. Scrunchy faces and soft smiles. Your toddler with their favorite toy, “helping” in the garden or on the farm, eating lunch, giggling, and tears. You and your partner listening to vinyl with morning coffee, cooking together, taking walks to your favorite spots. You may not know it now in this tiring, fast-paced world, but these are the lovely and messy moments you’ll want to remember and share as time moves on. This is the good stuff.

Q: Where are the Boudoir Sessions held?
A: The intimate sessions are typically held in my studio or your own home where you may feel more comfortable. I also really love shooting outdoors, so we can shoot in a more private location if you're up for it.
Q: I need help choosing a wardrobe for my session. Can you help me with that?
A: Absolutely. Clothing selection is very important in helping you feel comfortable and achieving the look you want. Having a thought out wardrobe will enhance your photographs, and I'm very hands-on with helping you select it. You're welcome to borrow from my curated client closet! I also have an online board full of suggestions for every body type and season. Color trends, layering, and price point are all detailed.
Q: What types of prints and products do you offer?
A: All pieces are professionally printed through a photography lab to ensure that you get the highest quality heirloom prints with accurate color. Prints are available in all of the popular sizes as well as square and custom sizes. Fine art canvases, albums, standouts, image blocks, and wooden photo ledges are just a few of the products I offer. I've carefully searched for the most unique and modern ways to display your memories.
Q: If I buy the digital images, do I own the copyright? Can I get them as RAW files?
A: Light & Life retains the copyright, however, you will be given a print release to print the images where you wish. I recommend avoiding large, online printers and retail stores since chemical color casting will happen. These places do not have good quality control and your beautiful images won't look as we intended them to. RAW files are never given out.
Q: Can I post my images on social media?
A: Absolutely! Share away, but please tag or credit Light & Life and stay away from cropping and throwing on one of those tempting photo filters :) I always appreciate it when folks show me love!
Q: I am part of a Non-Profit. Could you take photos for us or our event?
A: I enjoy working with non-profits immensely. Especially ones that meld with my personal interests. If your non-profit is in need of design or photography, please feel free to send me a detailed note from my contact form.
