When kids let loose and run wild during my family lifestyle sessions, I welcome it. It’s when they are being their true selves, exploring, learning, and interacting authentically with each other. I get to capture real giggles and yes, sometimes tears.
Of course not everything goes as planned, but such is life. I always try to tell parents to just try to relax and interact positively with their children even if it feels like chaos. 9 times out of 10 we get everyone hugging and laughing.
This shoot took place in one of my favorite Madison locations. It’s simply beautiful in the Fall and there’s plenty of room to roam for the little ones.
I’m so glad the C family asked me to do their autumn photos again this year. They’ve been a big supporter of mine since I started photography, and I’m so grateful for them and my other return clients. I enjoy watching families grow and little personalities develop.
