Newborn lifestyle sessions have my heart, especially winter ones. Every time I do one it takes me back to my own as babies. The wrinkly skin, the delicate peach fur all over, the clenched fists and curled toes, big round bellies, and pursed lips. Oh how I love those sweet details.
Those days are tiring and foggy. And they are this little for just a short amount of time. That’s why I love documenting it so much; these are days you’ll barely remember.
For this family, big brother loved being near his new sister. He gave her lots of attention, and I could tell that he was hoping she would grow bigger soon so that they could play together.
Even the dog was gentle and protective; always sleeping near her or jumping on the couch or bed with them. That little girl is going to have a friend for life, I tell you.
