What I hope to give you during your boudoir session is empowerment. It is your time to take it wherever you want. To relinquish and feel confident and sexy. This Madison boudoir session encapsulates what it feels like to be comfortable in your own skin.
When I first spoke to this woman (K), she said she was excited to gift these to her fiance, but that she also wanted to do this just for herself. Well, she was all in! Being a photographer herself, who does a lot of self-portrait and couples work, she was very comfortable being in front of the camera and knowing what types of positions would work well. She started in comfortable intimates and playful poses. There’s something to be said for a white, see through t-shirt! The way it fell over her shoulders was stunning.
She then progressed into more sultry poses as she got more into the music. Her black, lace robe was from Amazon of all places! Lingerie doesn’t have to be expensive, ladies. It’s how you feel about what you’re wearing. Your confidence will come through in your images if you FEEL GOOD in your intimates.
As we went on, the afternoon light beamed into K’s Madison apartment bedroom leaving beautiful shadows across her body, so we spent a lot of time in front of her bedroom window. Later, a flowing, yellow gown brought out her sexy, chocolate eyes. K had a spectacular wicker chair that went really well with her dress and framed her nicely.
I’m so thankful that you all trust me enough to become vulnerable in front of me. I love helping you look at yourself differently. This session celebrated K’s femininity and self-love. (And I’m pretty sure her fiance was happy with the outcome as well.) 🙂
